Instant Beef Paste 225g

• Ingredients: onion, salt, garlic, palm oil. water, sugar, lemongrass, flavour enhancer, soy sauce power (salt, maltodextrin, defatted soybean), spices (pepper, cinnamon, clove, coriander seeds, star anise), artificial beef flavour, chilli, ginger, colours (150c, 160c).

Directions for use:

1. Start by placing some chicken (drumstick, wing, something with bones) into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Then promptly drain the water and rinse the chicken. With chicken in the pot, fill with clean water and bring to boil lagain. Turn down temperature to a simmer. While simmering, add a few drops of fish sauce (optional), a quarter of shallot, a bit of salt, and crushed black pepper.
2. After simmering for half hour, add about two teaspoons of Instant Beef Flavour Paste and stir well.
3. Seperately, boil water and cook some rice sticks, sed aside. Thinly slice fresh beef. Slice fresh green onion.
4. Placed Slided beef in to a bowl and ladle the hot beef soup over it. Add cooked rice stick and stir well. Top with sliced green onion.
5. Serve with a little dish of hoisin suace on the side, dip meat and/or noodles in to the hoisin sauce before eating it.
